The Hotel Brunswick is centrally located in downtown Lancaster where original architecture links this charming city to its’ historic past as part of William Penn’s 1681 Penn’s Woods Charter. Today, Lancaster City is home to an active business district, an exploding art market and eclectic dining. Visit our city any First Friday of the month and you will find the streets alive with artists and artisans and a celebration only this diverse city can offer.

Central Market, the nation’s oldest continuously-operating farmer’s market, has been offering fresh meats and produce since 1730 and is located a block and a half from the Hotel Brunswick. Inside this beautiful Victorian structure, you can purchase a wide assortment of farm fresh foods.

The Fulton Opera House is one of only eight theatres in the country to be named a National Historic Landmark. Within walking distance of the hotel, the theatre presents a wide assortment of productions and is home to the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra.

The Lancaster Barnstormers minor league baseball team makes their home at Clipper Magazine Stadium. The stadium is also the site of outdoor events and concerts year round.

Living The Experience is a spiritual, creative, living history production of the Underground Railroad in Pennsylvania. The Lancaster Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church was one of the active ‘stations’ on the Underground Railroad and is located just minutes from the hotel.

The Lancaster Museum of Art houses both permanent and visiting collections of art by local, national, and international artists. The museum is within walking distance of the hotel and will soon be building a facility next door to the hotel.

Just a short drive from the Hotel Brunswick takes you to Lancaster County’s many popular attractions. Enjoy live performances in one of the nation’s most prolific venues, Sight and Sound Theatre. Or shop in the quaint surrounding villages of Bird-in-Hand, Intercourse, Lititz or Strasburg.
